Jesus’ ministry was all about compassion and we are a church that makes compassion a priority. Through our Compassion Center, we have the honor of serving thousands of people each year with food, clothing and other resources. Team members serve during the week with food pick up, and on the weekends with food preparation and distribution.
Our Welcome Team is one of the key reasons that Commission Church is known as a friendly church. These team members greet people as they enter our building for events and services, help facilitate opportunities for people to connect, and assist people in finding their next steps of connection.
Hospitality is a vital component of every interaction at Commission Church, and often the first impression for many who come through the doors to our weekend services and other events. This team serves through weekly food pick ups, hospitality preparation for events and weekend services, and more.
CKids learn foundational truths in a high-energy, interactive environment with teachers who are committed to equipping our youngest church members to become all that God has created them to be! Opportunities are available to serve with infants, preschoolers, kindergarteners, or grade-aged students during Sunday services.
Our services, events, small groups, and student gatherings are aimed to bridge the gap of feeling alone and inspire students to connect. We would love to have you on our team! Opportunities are available to serve with Junior High or High School aged students on Wednesday nights or weekend services.
We are committed to providing a safe environment for people to connect. Our Safety Team are key individuals who have been trained to respond to a variety of situations with the safety of our church congregation in mind.
Our Worship Team is key to creating conducive atmospheres for people to worship and experience God's love. If you are a musician, singer, want to sing in the choir, or want to help with our tech and production (sound, media, broadcast, cameras, etc.), we would love to have you! Opportunities to serve are available during Sunday services.
Our Prayer Team is filled with many faithful intercessors who consistently pray for the prayer requests of Commission Church and beyond. These teams consist of Intercession and Altar Ministry. If you would like more information about taking the next steps in praying for others, we'd love to talk with you about the prayer team.
Commission Church has a beautiful facility that we do not take for granted. Our facilities crew is made up of volunteers who are committed to working on building projects on a regular basis. These projects vary from changing batteries and ceiling lights to painting, moving furniture, window washing, and much more. If you love to help, join our facilities team.
Our Communion Team helps to prepare, serve, and bless others as they participate in communion during worship service. We celebrate the sacrament of communion every first Sunday of the month, and this team contributes to facilitating this worshipful moment.
Our Childcare Team provides not just childcare, but ministry to young ones during our events, team meetings, and other special gatherings. Our childcare team is always looking to expand so that we may pour into the amazing children in our community with the love of Jesus.
Our Pastoral Care Team is all about extending the shepherd heart of Christ Jesus to those in our community. This team meets regularly for pastoral care trainings and then commits to regular phone calls, house visits, prayer, and pastoral care for the community of Commission Church and beyond.
