Giving

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Generous Sermon Series

In Acts 20:35, we are told that the Lord Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than receive.” For some reason our world has twisted this around to find blessing in the things that we receive rather than in the ways we are generous. The Good News of the Gospel and God’s Word is that God loved so God gave, and this gift continues to give us new life, hope, joy, peace, and so much more each day. Through a recent sermon series called “Generous”, we focus on what it means to give of our time, treasure, and talent. We hope that as you look to the Lord and His Word, you too will find the pathway to embrace and embody radical generosity, and the true blessing found in giving.
